1. Service Description
1.1 Services Offered:
Yellow Bricks Consulting provides personalised support in the following areas:
- University Admission Document Support: Assistance crafting personal statements, motivation letters, CVs, and other application documents.
- University Interview Preparation: Mock interviews and feedback to help you prepare for admission interviews.
- Workforce Document Support: Guidance in creating professional CVs, cover letters, and other workforce application materials.
- Workforce Interview Preparation: Mock interviews and strategies to help you succeed in job interviews.
1.2 Customization:
Our services are tailored to meet each client’s unique needs. Results may vary depending on individual circumstances.
2. Client Obligations
2.1 Accurate Information:
Clients must provide accurate and truthful information throughout our collaboration. Providing misleading information may result in the termination of services.
2.2 Confidentiality:
Clients are expected to maintain the confidentiality of any proprietary methods or strategies shared during our engagement.
3. Booking and Cancellation
3.1 Onboarding Session:
We offer a complimentary 20-minute onboarding session to discuss your needs and how we can assist you. Scheduling is done via Calendly.
3.2 Cancellation Policy:
Clients must notify us at least 24 hours in advance for any cancellations or rescheduling requests. Failure to do so may result in a cancellation fee or termination of the service.
3.3 Penalties:
Last-minute cancellations or no-shows may result in a non-refundable charge or a termination of the collaboration at our discretion.
4. Payment Terms
4.1 Swiss Clients:
Payment is accepted via invoicing and bank transfer. Payments are due within 20 days of invoice issuance.
4.2 International Clients:
Pre-payment is required via credit card, PayPal, or wire transfer. Payments must be made in CHF or EUR.
4.3 Late Payment:
A handling fee of 40 CHF/EUR per reminder will be applied in case of late or non-payment. Continued non-payment may lead to service suspension.
5. Intellectual Property
5.1 Ownership of Materials:
All materials provided during our engagement become the client’s property upon completion and payment. Clients are free to use and distribute these materials as they see fit.
5.2 Use by Yellow Bricks Consulting:
We may request your consent to use anonymised versions of your documents for marketing purposes, but you are under no obligation to agree.
6. Liability
6.1 No Guarantee of Results:
While we aim to enhance your chances of success, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes for university or job applications.
6.2 Limitation of Liability:
Our liability for any errors or interruptions in service, including those related to the use of Zoom for consultations and iCloud for data storage, is limited to the amount paid by the client for the affected services. We recommend resolving disputes through mediation, but arbitration or court proceedings are options per the client’s preference.
7. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
7.1 Governing Law:
These Terms of Service are governed by Swiss law. Any disputes will be resolved under Swiss jurisdiction.
7.2 Dispute Resolution:
We recommend mediation as the first step in resolving any disputes. If mediation fails, arbitration or court proceedings may be pursued.
8. Modification of Terms
8.1 Changes to Terms:
We may modify these Terms of Service from time to time. Any changes will be posted on our website.
8.2 Notice of Changes:
For ongoing engagements, we will email clients to notify them of any changes. Clients are not required to agree to new terms for existing engagements, but continued use of our services after changes are posted will constitute acceptance of the new terms.
